Richmond Unite recently closed the voting for Richmond area non-profits to receive grants. In order to get the grant the non-profit had to have over 1,000 folks vote for it. Over the Weekend Phil Pollard a teacher at Richmond Waldorf School died as the result of a stroke suffered on Thursday. There is a short obituary in the RTD but this story at Knoxville.com does a much better job of telling you who Phil was and the impression he left on those he knew and taught.
