Felony Arrest in 1800 Block of 42nd Street

From  Lieutenant John A. O’Kleasky, Jr. of the Third Precinct – Sector 312

mcmillan Sean McMillan

On 09/07/09, Officers stopped Sean McMillan, W/M, age 30, in the 1800 block of W 42nd St @ 5:20am. McMillan was carrying two bags, which contained numerous electronic devices (I-Pod, GPS, Camcorders, Cell Phones, etc.). Officers determined that these items had been stolen from two UNLOCKED vehicles parked in the 1600 block of W. 42nd St. and 4500 block of Devonshire Rd. McMillan was arrested on three felony charges and taken to jail. Officers Trishonda McClain-Gill and Corwyn Booker did an outstanding job of spotting this individual, finding the stolen electronics and determining who the victim’s were.

Please continue to speak with your neighbors and ensure that people are #1. Locking their Vehicles and #2. Stop leaving items out for people to steal. This type of irresponsible action brings criminals into your neighborhood, and makes everyone more vulnerable, please work together and look out for each other if you see items left out. Times are tough, please do not make your neighborhoods so inviting for thieves!
