Richmond School districts will be rezoned in the coming year. Under several of the proposals J.B. Fisher would close. More information on the re-zoning process including the dates of upcoming meeting to discuss the proposals can be found on the RPS website.
Richmond Public Schools are facing a $24 million deficit. As a result the School Board is looking for areas to cut. Under 3 of the 4 rezoning plans J.B. Fisher would be closed. There are some interactive maps of the proposed rezoning by RPS but in all honesty I have a hard time understanding. From RTD;
