Happy Lucky Combo at Crossroads

H&H Game Nite at Crossroads

Inspired by  TableTop, this is a great way to meet some neighbors and socialize on a weeknight. Too much time is spent on the computers or watching television. Interacting with folks is about more than leaving a comment or pressing a “like” button. Meet me at Crossroads and play a game.

Paulo

Paulo Franco & Will Richardson at Crossroads tonight

Good weather + Good Music + Good Beer = Great Friday night. I’ll be there and so should you.

Crossroads applies for ABC Off License

Good news for craft beer lovers. Local watering hole Crossroads has applied for their ABC Off License which means beer to go. Talking with co-owner Will last week, he’s hoping to get approval in about 2 weeks. In theory it should go quickly since Crossroads already has the On approval. Will is looking into options [...]

Richmond Baja 100 bike race coming soon

From the Broad Street Hooligans blog. The first of many Richmond Baja 100′s, the officially unofficial off-road bike race/tour, is currently being organized.

Lovers of beer and live music should like this page and go to city hall

One of the best changes I’ve seen the area was the addition of beer and wine to the menu at Crossroads. This combined with music nearly every Friday & Saturday make for a great social space.

Local graffiti

This and another piece is in the alley behind the 48 Hours Store (on the old beauty parlor). The third one is located on the dumpster in the parking lot of  Crossroads. Anybody else seeing graffiti like this in the area.

Crossroads news – A/C & SUP

From Lee Shewmake on the Woodland Heights Yahoo group I hear two things. Crossroads Coffee & Ice Cream asked me to post that the A/C has been repaired and regular hours will resume this weekend. Crossroads Coffee & Ice Cream has filed for an SUP (special use permit).  The permit is to allow the continuance [...]

Jacobs and Paul Watson. Support local music and great guys by buying a CD.

New Belgium Urban Assault Ride hits the hood on Sunday

Registration ends on Friday but inquiring minds want to know exactly what is an Urban Assault Ride and does it involve assault rifles. First off, no assault rifles are used during any part of this ride, only bikes, brawn and brains are required.

Crossroad Jazzin It Up

Repost of Crossroads – Brian Jones “Redhead” by Aaron Williams published on RVANews earlier today. A few weeks ago, Selba was the center of attention for their ever expanding lineup of jazz. This week, Crossroads is the focus. Crossroads has been hosting live music for a long time, but recently their lineup has had some of the best [...]

Richmond.com Crowns Crossroads A Beer Mecca

Next time you go to Crossroads and can’t get a beer due to the crowd, you can blame Stephen Robertson (aka Blanchard’s Guy), Richmond.com, and this article. The cat or in this case the tasty micro-brew is out of the bag. Our little community gem has now been unveiled to the masses, or at least [...]

GayRVA.com Richmond’s source for news, entertainment, and information about the lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgendered (LGBT) community has been running a series on gay friendly neighborhoods in Richmond. Today they discussed our neck of the woods and did a pretty good job of hitting all the highlights.

Crossroads Serving Up Blanchard’s

In other Crossroads news, the coffee shop took 3rd place in Richmond.com’s Best Coffeehouse voting. Lift nabbed first and Shockoe Espresso and Roastery came in third.

Is Crossroads the Best Coffeehouse in RVA?

Apparently it is the season of internet polls. In the continuing quest to find the best of RVA, through polling people that go to a particular website, Richmond.com is allowing you to vote on the coffeehouses in town. Southbank favorite Crossroads is in the mix. Not very much in the way of descriptions given. All [...]
