Volunteers needed for Westover Baptist landscape project

Many of you might know or have seen the work being done at Westover Baptist.  They are partnering with the Reedy Creek Coalition, Alliance for the Chesapeake Bay, and Four Winds Design to make over the landscape and improve the health of our local watershed. Read more Here.

Follow-up on Huguenot protest – language barriers and deportation fears

Approximately 70 protesters gathered last Thursday at Huguenot High as the students were released.  Parents, family and students had joined together to voice what they feel is unfair treatment at the hands of school admistration and RPS.

Stolen bike alert

Giant STP hybrid BMX/ Mtn bike,  white frame w blue rims, black forks & handlebars  was stolen last night from 4000 Forest Hill Ave. corner of Forest Hill & Roanoke. Bike was locked with a combination lock and chain on the front porch. From CBS6 Richmond Police are looking for a missing mother and child. Tiffany S. Pugh, 27, lives along the 4000 block of Midlothian Turnpike with her 5-year-old son Israel.
