Calling local artists and crafts-folk
A message from Woodland Heights neighbor Robert Johns.
Woodland Heights Baptist Church is considering sponsoring a Holiday Artist-In-Residence Show and Sale for local artists and crafts-people, and for local residents to see and find some locally made items in time for the holiday season. We would anticipate having the show over the first weekend of December, Friday and/or Saturday.
If you would be interested in having a table/booth at such an event, or have questions, please reply either to this post or directly to me via email (JohnsR AT stcva.org).
The cost per vendor would be minimal, and any funds raised from the event would support the church’s Food Closet Ministry, which serves 80-120 people in need from the area each month.
Again, we are exploring this idea, and would need to decide in the next couple of weeks in order to make proper preparations. Please let other potential vendors in the area (Woodland Heights, Westover Hills, Forest Hill, Stratford Hills, …) know and have them contact me as well (with questions or to express interest).
I would be most interested in more details and possible participation. Thanks! Linda
Linda–
Would you email me at JohnsR AT stcva.org . I think this project will be a go, but I’ll need to nail down a couple of details with everyone first. Thanks.
