Forest Hill Ave slowed due to deer and bus collision

Forest Hill Avenue between Powhite and Chippenham was backed up this morning when a school bus hit a deer, resulting in a dead deer and a damaged bus. The accident occurred around 7 a.m. in the 6700 block of Forest Hill Ave, near the intersection of Windsorview Drive on the way to school. No injuries reported on the bus and the students were transferred to another bus to continue on to school. The bus was towed back for repairs and a good scrubbing.
