The League of Women Voters have put together an excellent resource (Vote411.org) to allow voters to quickly compare candidates in their district. Enter your address answer a few questions and very quickly you can compare all the folks that will be on your ballot from President down to ballot measures. This is especially helpful in the 4th District School Board race which has 5 candidates. Races that have more than 2 candidates you have to compare 2 at a time but the interface is not clunky and the information is provided by the candidates.

Also keep you eye out for candidate forums. Two have been held already and both were well attended, well run and educational. The deadline to register to vote is October 15 and hopefully I’ll be able to announce some upcoming voter registration events in the area.
