43rd Street Art Festival on Saturday
More from the Westover Hill Neighborhood Association website;
On Saturday, September 15, the 43rd Street Festival of the Arts will be back for its 21st year. The festival will feature 70 local and regional artisans selling their wares from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
As usual, a new T-shirt designed by one of the participating artists will be available for all the collectors out there. There’s also live music and delicious food throughout the day. The music line up for this year includes Rachel Leyco (10 a.m.), Omin Otago (11:30 a.m.), Susan Greenbaum (1 p.m.), Bluz Catz (2:30 p.m.), and Blue Line Highway (4 p.m.).
The festival is not just about fine art and craft. It benefits Freedom House, a Richmond organization that provides food, shelter and the power to change for people in crisis.
