Please share our Facebook event invite!Take a leisurely stroll back in time to the 1920s and enjoy an afternoon of food, flappers and frivolity in historic Forest Hill Park. The Art Deco Society of Virginia cordially invites you to grab your skimmer and your picnic basket and join us as we celebrate the good ol’ summertime in true Gatsby fashion.

This event is open to all ages, ADSVA members and non-members alike. Learn all about the Art Deco Society of Virginia, dance your cares away to the crackling melodies of the Victrola, or join your fellow picnicgoers in a rousing game of croquet. There is truly something for every Deco enthusiast.

Gatsby-era clothing is strongly encouraged, but not required. A blanket and parasol for the ladies are also encouraged. For questions or additional information, please contact artdecova@gmail.com.

Admission: Free, but a donation to Friends of Forest Hill Park for the preservation of the park is strongly encouraged. We will accept all donations on the day of the event.

Parking: There is a parking lot located on 42nd street at New Kent Avenue. Street parking also is available. The park is in a residential area, so please be respectful.

Alcohol and glass bottles/containers are prohibited.
