For the record my favorite treat by Kelly is the Fleur De Sel Caramel, which is fancy foodie talk for a salted chocolate covered bite of caramel.
How has being in the food business affected your outlook on food and dining?
The food business is tough. It’s hard work with long hours and it’s not the way to get rich—it is a labor of love. When love is poured into the food you’re eating, it is absolutely evident. I consider a great dish to be art and truly admire those who take the time to be educated, innovative and disciplined in their craft.
