You get dinner, kids get an education
There is a reason that Learning Tree Academy might not sound familiar. It was originally called the Richmond Southside Co-op School but had to change their name. What it is, is an attempt by some local parents in “bringing together the best of what homeschooling, private schools and public school offer.” As with nearly everything in life there are expenses. Learning Tree has come up with a unique fund raiser – food. Specifically local produce including; Grilled Lime Garlic Shrimp with Roasted Corn, Tomato and Black Bean Salad. Some details below but even more about the Academy and the menu at the website.
