Help mark the drains and improve the water
Reedy Creek Coalition is excited to help mark storm drains and needs volunteers to help us reach their goal. Sorry but for this event volunteers must be at least 18 years old. They will be meeting at the Stone House in Forest Hill Park at 9 a.m. on Saturday, August 11th. If you would like to volunteer please join this event or email organizers through the Reedy Creek Coalition website. More information on this program and why it’s important can be found here.

I certainly hope these things are small…can’t tell from the photo. Signs are visual pollution and I don’t like the idea of substituting one kind of pollution for another. At least the visual part of the design with the fish is attractive, and I’m glad they spent time on that.

Thanks are due the City of Richmond for supplying us with these markers and for being responsible for the very nice fish design on the markers.
