Antiques in Manchester (AIM) an upscale open air market, opens on Saturday, from 9 am to 4 pm at 205 Hull Street adjacent to Micheal Sparks Design. The market will continue on subsequent Saturdays until December, weather permitting.
Legend Diabetes Fundraiser

Legend Brewing Company and Sports Radio WRVA will be hosting a fund raising event for Devin Dunn, a local 10 year old boy with type one diabetes. Devin has to have his blood sugar tested 15 times a day. This fund raiser is to help the family buy a Diabetes Alert Dog. The dog will alert Devin’s parents to high or low blood sugar. Not only can it alert them 25 to 45 minutes faster than a meter, it will also allow him more freedom to be a young boy. There will be a minimum $3 donation at the door and the first 300ppl will recieve a Support a Cure bracelet. Bands will start at 3:30 and 7:30 both for 3 hrs. Part of the proceeds from the beverage truck and food will go to Devin. a Donation Barrel will also be placed inside the Pub

3rd Precinct MPACT Meeting

Join your neighbors at Albert Hill Middle School to meet with city officials to discuss priority issues on a monthly basis. Precinct level meetings offer the chance to learn more about MPACT, meet your co-chairs and provide feedback to the city.
City Council Formal Meeting

Every 2nd and 4th Mon – Responsible for deciding official Council action, which includes discussing, adopting, rejecting, and amending laws and approving the budget. Formal meetings include a time for pubic comment and are televised live on the local PBS station and are replayed in Richmond on Government Access Channel 17, beginning at Noon and 7:00 p.m. daily.

Tot Lot Fundraiser at O’Toole’s

O’Toole’s on Monday, July 9, from 5 to 9 p.m. to enjoy a great meal and beverage—AND to support the renovations of the Westover Hills Tot Lot. O’Toole’s will donate 15% of all receipts from that evening that are left in the basket marked “tot lot.” Fundraising for the playground improvements is almost complete, so this event could push the campaign over the top. Project Athena Richmond Relay Marathon
