Mindy is back home safe and sound.
Mindy is found! We got back to town (she escaped from the backyard during a storm while we were in north carolina), got our other dog, drove to forest hill park, started walking along the last trail we followed on wed. before we left town, and found her. What a miracle when her skinny white body came wagging out of the woods.
