Richmond.com review of Dixie Chicken
On Twitter and Facebook I’ve been pretty clear on where I stand with Dixie Chicken. My review would consist of love it, go eat it now. Fortunately there are professionals out there that can do a much better job of food review than myself. From Richmond.com;
White or dark meat chicken can be chosen for the fried chicken combo—both offer impossibly moist and abundant meat, especially for the small price ($6.75 for two pieces, two sides and a biscuit).
What sets this fried chicken apart is the flavorful spice in the breading and great crispy texture. While some fried chicken suffers from under-seasoned or soggy breading, this had me picking clean every last bit of breading that could be coaxed from the bone.

I want to eat this all the live long day
LOVE the Dixie Chicken! LOVE LOVE LOVE them!
Love this place. I miss the daily breakfast though. Those biscuits taste good in the morning and the Lamplighter coffee was really good too.
