Antiques in Manchester

Antiques in Manchester (AIM) an upscale open air market, opens on Saturday, from 9 am to 4 pm at 205 Hull Street adjacent to Micheal Sparks Design. The market will continue on subsequent Saturdays until December, weather permitting.

Belle Isle Skills Area Workday

Sat May 5 9:00 am
We have two volunteer weekends scheduled and we need EVERYONE to come out and help. Saturdays & Sundays, May 5th & 6th and May 12th & 13th we’ll be having all day work days to build the pump tracks, define the lines, rock gardens, drops and trials areas. Please make an effort to come out for at least a few hours on one of the days. Work will begin at 9am. Due to events at Brown’s Island those weekends, we recommend parking at Reedy Creek or Forest Hill Park and riding bikes to Belle Isle.

Community Garden Concert

Join Westover Baptist Church and the Richmond Waldorf school at the Westover Baptist Church (1000 Westover Hills Blvd.) for a Chorale Concert to benefit a community garden. Donations will be accepted.

Patrick Henry Garden Workday

Sat May 5 9:00 am
Help Patrick Henry School of Science and Arts get the gardens and ground in shape for the spring and summer. Bring appropriate gear and clothing for getting down and dirty outside.

South of the James Farmers’ Market

Sat May 5 8:00 am
The area’s biggest and best Farmers’ Market. Food, crafts, plants, and more every Saturday in beautiful Forest Hill Park.

Belle Isle Skill Area Workday

Sun May 6 9:00 am

RPS School Board

The RPS School Board meets at 4:30PM and 6PM on the first Monday of each month in Council Chamber Room on the 2nd floor of City Hall, located at 301 North Ninth Street; and at 6PM on the third Monday of each month at selected schools.

Kings & Wings

Wed May 9 8:00 pm
Informal chess club that meets every Wednesday at O’Toole’s for beer and chess. Focus on the beer. All levels welcome.

Westover Hills Neighborhood Association Meeting
