Tomato and garlic plants stolen from Tricycle Gardens
We are sad to report that we’ve had our first theft on the farm this past weekend. A vandal stole 30 tomato plants and our whole crop of garlic which contained over 200 plants. While it saddens us that this happened, we’d like to acknowledge the Chesterfield Historical Society of Virginia and the Chesterfield County Museum who are graciously donating heirloom variety tomato plants that they grew for their own plant sale. Anne Fletcher, one of our wonderful board members, also donated a new garlic crop to begin to make up for the stolen plants. We truly celebrate their generosity!

Sad but I kinda wondered when this was going to happen. I didn’t expect a wholesale crop being lifted though, just figured someone would come out at night and get a couple free tomatoes.
A friend just had her plants stolen from her yard on 34th as well.
