Westover Hills House Tour on Sunday

The house above is just one of the lovely houses you’ll get a chance to check out. Tickets are now available for the 2012 Westover Hills Home tour, scheduled for Sunday, April 29, from noon to 5 p.m. Tickets are $12.50 each in advance and will be $15 each on the day of the tour.

To get advance tickets, contact Dick Bragg by email or phone at 231-3252 before noon on Friday, April 27. Advance tickets will be delivered to your door.

On the day of the tour, tickets will be sold between the hours of 11:45 a.m. and 3 p.m. at the office entrance to the Westover Hills United Methodist Church on the Boulevard.

This tour showcases the excitement bought to older homes in this area by knocking out walls, adding on, renovating kitchens, putting in a pool, or just putting splashes of color on the walls! You’ll get to see the interiors and yards of eight gorgeous homes that are diverse in architectural style and interior design. Each home is unique and reflects the “personality” of its owners, and they are all comfortable, family homes reflecting the easy lifestyle of Westover Hills!

The line-up of homes includes 4904 New Kent, 1900 Westover Hills Blvd., 5005 Riverside Drive, 5005 New Kent, 5018 New Kent, 5103 New Kent, 5112 Caledonia, and 5315 Riverside. Click here to see photos and descriptions of homes.

The Westover Hills home tour is not advertised to the general public, but residents and friends of Westover Hills, Forest Hill, or Woodland Heights neighborhoods are welcome. So be sure to invite your friends, family, and colleagues. [via Westover Hills Neighborhood Association Website]

I hope it’s kosher to post this here, but if you finish the house tour early and just can’t get enough house-seeing, I’ll be holding 4603 Forest Hill open from 2 to 4 Sunday and Kent Thompson will be holding 618 West 24th open at the same time. Come say hi to us!
