Additional details gathered from Forest Hill Facebook: “same method–broke a back window of the house with a rock from the garden, went in and took guns and some jewelry but no electronics this time. the house alarm wasn’t on.”

News of an assault from RTD. This assault will most likely show up in tomorrow’s crime report due to the time it occurred.

The victim reported being struck in the head and asked to be checked by an ambulance crew after the robbery, which was reported just before 6:50 a.m. in the 1300 block of Blackrock Drive, at the Bramblewood apartments just off Jahnke Road.

Police were investigating to see if there were any possible links between the Blackrock incident and a robbery about 90 minutes earlier near downtown Richmond, where four black men in their late 20s — three of them with handguns — robbed a man and fled on foot. Those robbers were said to be dressed in all dark clothing.
