Fat Tuesday with local churches and No BS Brass Band
The Hills and Heights neighborhood churches (Forest Hill Presbyterian, Good Shepherd Episcopal, Westover Hills United Methodist, Bethany Christian, Westover Baptist, Jahnke Rd Baptist, and Woodland Heights Baptist) are sponsoring a Fat Tuesday celebration and parade tomorrow evening at Good Shepherd Episcopal and Forest Hill Presbyterian.
Pancakes will be served at Good Shepherd starting at 5:15 pm (with donations accepted).
At 6:30 pm, members of Richmond\’s own No BS! Brass band will lead a short parade down Springhill Avenue from Good Shepherd to Forest Hill Presbyterian, where they’ll continue to play in the church social hall.

This is really, really a good time for the kids! The walk is do-able even for the littler ones (only a couple of blocks) and there’s room for them to dance in the social hall at FH Pres.
