Crosswalk broken button update
I’ve heard that one of the new crosswalks on Forest Hill Ave doesn’t work. Well luckily we received an update from Kathy Graziano’s office last week and I forgot to post it. Currently the City is waiting on the parts to be shipped for installation to correct the problem. As of Friday, Jan 20th 43rd St is still operating fine. However, 41st St push buttons will remain covered until the parts are installed. The installation shall be completed no later than Feb 10. Which is kind of funny since it was the light on 43rd that got wiped out by a car.

It’s like the good old days again.
Any word on why it broke? Vandals maybe?
we get what we pay for :-)
I don’t have any other info.
Ateast as of yesterday morning, the lights on the south side of the 43rd street crosswalk were not working. Who can we report that to to have it remedies. My dog and I were nearly hit by a speeding pick-up.
I would use: http://seeclickfix.com/richmond/issues/hot to report it. I did see a crew working on that very one when I went to lunch around 11:30. They were gone when I just came back through now around 12:30.
Indeed, it was fixed this morning. It did not, however, slow a van barreling down Forest Hill who had plenty of time to slow with slamming the breaks a laying on the horn.
