More Science Education Coming To James River

From the Friends of James River Park Facebook we get a bit of good news. Congratulations Anne.

Excited to announce that FOJRP board member and Assistant Professor of Biology and Coordinator of Life Sciences Outreach Education at VCU has received a $61,000 2 year grant from Altria to bring science education to the park! The 4 areas of focus are: water quality assessment using fish and bugs, anadromous fish, rock pools, and geology. Our website will be involved in spreading the word.
