Reedy Creek Takeout Update

Once again for all things rivery we turn to our man in the creek Phil Riggin. A new takeout was planned to begin construction this week for Reedy Creek but alas, progress can’t not proceed without the proper permit. Fortunately it is only delayed a week and work is hopefully to begin next week. This morning’s post on JRNH gives the details and the graphic. Phil covered some more details on the ramp last week at his other gig at Richmond.com.

The steps are planned to be 10 feet wide and the adjoining ramp 5 feet, according to the blueprints. The takeout will 78 feet long and should reach into the water at most depths.
