Show Some Tree Love Become A Tree Steward

One of the best aspects of our neighborhoods are the trees. Now is your chance to give back. Registration is now open for the January session to become a Richmond Tree Steward.

Our 10 week Tree Steward course includes tree biology, identification, and pathology and will give you the latest information on tree care, planting and pruning techniques. You’ll also learn about watersheds, soils and the challenges our urban trees face.

The goal is to prepare you to become a volunteer with Richmond Tree Stewards and help care for our urban trees. We also educate the community about their care and benefits.
