Richmond.com Profiles Westover Hills
It’s perhaps a sign that either I’ve lived here too long or been doing H&H too long but I read this article and learned nothing new. Not saying it’s a bad article at all but I wish there had been some tidbit that I hadn’t heard. You can give the article a read yourself or share some little known Westover Hills fact in the comments.
Here is my list of a few things that could have been covered.
- Blanchard’s Coffee, Taza, Chocolates by Kelly – Trifecta of good things to eat and drink
- Riverside Drive – Best place to see fireworks
- Stories Comics – One of the biggest selections of comics, books, figures and other geekery around
- 48 Hours – Great beer selection, random hours, hasn’t been robbed lately
- Remodeled Library – The library refresh is awesome
- The Forest & The Locker Room – Smoking is still king
- 4th of July Parade – Best kid parade in the state

Riverside DRIVE, Richard… ;o)
Good catch Stuffa. So far today I’ve done 4 articles and all of them needed some sort of correction. I must need more caffeine.
Unfortunately, I haven’t made it back to The Locker Room since the smoking ban went into effect – did they create a non-smoking area, or are they “Liberty Valancing” it?
That really is an anemic article. Shame on them.
@MarkH – I haven’t been in to verify but I’ve been told that The Locker Room basically closed in one booth and that is the non-smoking section.
I think they should do a new article titled: The Crust and Creme of Richmond
:)
or cream…
