Twitter Facebook Sunday mentioned the closing of Mandarin Palace in Stratford Hills. Today I present hard evidence. Down the road Dicky’s Barbeque Pit just opened up and was doing a brisk lunch business today. I hope to present my experience in a non-reviewing factor soon.

I’m moving into the neighborhood in October and was so excited that MP was close by. My Mom used to take me to the one on Route 1 when I was just a little tike and I missed it so when it closed. They had great food but I guess a 43 year run isn’t too bad for a restaurant!
Sucks that MP closed but Cathay Gourmet in Bon Air is still open. Great food there and they deliver.
Does anyone have more info on Mandarin Palace? I read the note Lucy posted on the door, any word why? My family has been going there since it opened (I had my wedding rehearsal there as well – couldn’t imagine doing it anywhere else!) and it will be greatly missed!
I am so sad about Mnadarin Palace closing! I’ve been going there since I moved to Richmond in 1976 and will really miss it!
