SweetFrog Hopping Our Way

SweetFrog purveyors of premium frozen yogurt and more toppings than you can shake a stick at are moving into 7340 Forest Hill Avenue, near Little Caesar’s and Tropical Smoothie. The location is not updated on the SweetFrog website but the website also lists the Carytown location as “Coming Soon”. I swung by the location today and construction looks mostly done but wasn’t able to ask when they planned to open. Thanks to Tweeter @iknowtiffany who tweeted this earlier today; “7340 Forest Hill – Sweet Frog trailer in the parking lot, space being renovated with pink walls & those funky lamps right now!”

WOOHOO! I went to the Carytown one twice last week. Now I don’t have to cross the river!
More excited about easier parking than the one in Carytown!!
way too close to my office.
YES! Totally on the way home from school. Bonus.
That is great! We drove by the empty McDonalds and Blockbuster the other day and said “Wouldn’t it be great if SweetFrogs moved in there!?!?!” By the way, is anything going into Blockbuster? I have seen a Tae Kwon Do van out front??
Ironically, I’ve never been to Sweet Frog because of our family’s food allergies. My kids think it’s a place where people eat frogs. :)
I heard from a commercial realtor that the blockbuster was going to become a medical office building (thus bringing it full circle)…boring!!! I was hoping for something way more awesome.
I totally wish Sweet Frog could have come to the Blockbuster building, although it fits in more down the other way with the other chains. It is my understanding the Blockbuster has been bought by a dialysis center. Not that exciting, but at least it will have something in it instead of being vacant or torn down and turned into a gravel parking lot.
Love them but how can we get them to stop using styrofoam? We know folks that won’t go there because they only use styrofoam. We reuse the same cups by taking them home, washing them out and then storing them in the car.
The use of styrofoam is what keeps us from going to Sweet Frog- the trashcans in front of the Carytown store are always full of them! I’ve seen plenty of them on the street too, likely from the wind. It’s nice to hear that folks are reusing the cups- but 99.9% folks won’t go to such lengths.
then =/= than
Still excited for the opening though.
What are the hours and phone number?
