After some recent home break-ins and serious crime in our neighborhood, there has been a push amongst neighbors in the area of Forest View to form a solid Neighborhood Watch Program. We are participating in the National Night Out on August 2nd (poster above) to boost this effort and help build strong relationships within the community.
I want to encourage our community to join us at the Westover Baptist Church in support of our efforts and meet new friends. Here is a map of our area (also below), but we aren’t restricting involvement from other areas of our community. [...] Forest View held their first ever National Night Out event on Tuesday and it was quite the success. A meeting date with the Community Cares Official will be forthcoming. A big thank you goes out the Be Sharp Duo for playing great music all night. They were a big hit and helped in making it a fun night out for the community.
