One Lost Cat and One Happy Ending

Rhett Butler
Some of you may have noticed signs around the neighborhood about a lost cat named “Rhett Butler.” He is a black male cat with white feet, white chest, and distinctive mustache. If you see him, please contact Chris at 931-1546 or by email at cm9382431@gmail.com.
Several people have notified us about a sign posted at Crossroads Coffee about a found black-and-white cat. That cat is not Rhett Butler, but a young (1-2 years old) female apparently found around 30th St. If you are missing a cat of that description or know someone who is, you should call 232-8561.
Thanks to the conscientiousness of Westover Hills residents, the tortoise shell cat and the Boston terrier reported missing in the June 5th alert found their homes. Pede, the Boston terrier was never in Westover Hills, but several residents reported seeing a dog dodging traffic on Forest Hill and rescued by the Powhite Parkway tollbooth workers. Those tips led directly to the reuniting of Pede and his owner.

Glad Rhett came home … please ask him to remove all of his photos on power poles; driving my dog crazy having to look at him everyday!
