Emergency Repairs on Huguenot – Avoid

From VDOT; Huguenot Road/Route 147 (Richmond/Henrico) – Crews are currently making emergency pavement repairs on the southbound side of the Huguenot Bridge. The repairs are expected to continue through 7 p.m. Flaggers are alternating traffic over the bridge.

Just found out this morning that Councilman Marty Jewell isn’t a big fan of the parks as evidenced by his proposal to cut $400,000 from general Park maintenance (16%) and $100,000 from James River Park maintenance (26%).

Urban Assaulting Mountain Biking to Occur on Saturday

This weekend is the big Dominion Riverrock Outdoor Festival on Brown’s Island but it won’t be contained strictly to Brown’s Island.
