Missing Cat and Possible Stray Dog

“Cocoa” the cat went missing from her home on the 4600 block of King William Rd. on Memorial Day morning. She is a large (not fat, just large) 14-year-old tortoise shell (primarily brown, but also black and white) cat. She was not wearing her collar when she disappeared from her front porch. We hope to have a photo of Cocoa that we will send to Hills and Heights when it’s available.
Cocoa is an indoor cat who has never traveled far from home, so if you live near the 4600 block of King William, please check in storage sheds, crawl spaces, and storm sewers. If you see Cocoa, please call Lynda Crouse at 291-6167.
We also received a report on Sunday evening of a loose small black-and-white dog (possibly a Boston Terrier) on the 5200 block of Dorchester. We have not received any reports of such a dog missing, but if you know of anyone looking for a missing black-and-white dog, you will want to pass along this report.

I saw a cat matching Cocoa’s description scurry into the sewer on the corner of New Kent and Prince Arthur (the drain directly adjacent to the fire hydrant). I only caught a brief glimpse and I cannot confirm whether or not it had on a collar (i did notice white marking on its underside). When I returned (this was all within the last five minutes) I could not find the cat. I opened the manhole but it wasn’t there. It either exited the sewer or travelled down one of the pipes.
I have seen a cat scurry into that sewer over the past few weeks and months so I don’t think it was the recent escapee. There is also a small indoor/outdoor calico who lives near Prince Arthur and Evelyn Byrd.
I am missing a 1 year old black and white boston terrior. He got out on thursday morning from the fairlee road area. Please, please if any one has this dog or have seen it recently call
