RTD Review of Croaker’s Spot
Any of you that have been, are not going to be surprised by the RTD review of Croaker’s Spot. Some of the superlatives from Dana Craig include; mountainous, perfection, delicately, deliciously, succulent, tender, and my favorite waddled. The last two sentences sum it up nicely as does the slide show.
Besides the well-prepared menu of stick-to-your-ribs fare, the main reason I love Croaker’s Spot is the vibe. You can’t manufacture genuine people who love serving food prepared with care. It’s simply infectious.

except they didn’t “move” to Manchester, they got shut down in Jackson Ward for failing to pay City meals taxes, then just re-opened under the same name to avoid a bill they owe–quite galling
Actually the downtown one was still open when the manchester one opened. I’m not sure how they could dodge any tax bullets by staying within city limits, although I’ve heard this rumor before.
So … the food’s worth the trip. Has anyone been there yet to have info on parking?
Wright
They only have street parking but I’ve never had a problem finding a spot close to the restaurant.
