Westover Hills Neighborhood Association Picnic on Saturday

From the WHNA site;

You’re invited to attend the annual Westover Hills Neighborhood Picnic on Saturday, May 21, from 4:30 p.m. to dark. The picnic will be on the 1900 block of Prince Arthur Road, between Evelyn Byrd and New Kent. This is a great event for everyone to meet their neighbors, for kids to enjoy fun activities, and for everyone to enjoy the best of O’Toole’s picnic food. Soft drinks, wine and keg beer will be provided along with grilled burgers, hot dogs, barbeque beans, desserts, and all the fixings.

Kids will enjoy two clowns, (balloon-twisting and face-painting), and the Westover Hills Library Advisory Group will have an activity table. Kids will also love the street chalk and bubble bucket.

The popular band Triad led by neighbor Dave Pollard will perform during the picnic from 5 to 7 p.m. You may know the band from its gigs at O’Toole’s.

The city’s fire department will bring their neat stuff for everyone to enjoy.

The picnic price is $10 per person or $20 for families for WHNA members but more for non-members. You can join the association at the picnic.

The weather will probably be wonderful, but if the picnic must be cancelled due to rain we will try again on Sunday, May 22.

The picnic is hosted by the Westover Hills Neighborhood Association.
