Headphone Party at Legend on Saturday

I had no idea what a headphone party was until I saw this post on Richmond.com about the event.

A Headphone Party is where two eclectic DJs transmit their completely different styles of music through a set of specially designed wireless headphones. The users of the headphones have full control over the selection the DJ as well as the volume.

Now that I know what a headphone party is I’m still not sure why I would go, as I like being social when I go out, but kudos to Legend for trying something new. More businesses around here need to take random risks like this to keep things vibrant. The party is on the deck of Legend and kicks off or drops the beats, or kicks the jams, or starts getting jiggy (I really don’t what the correct term is) at 10 p.m and goes until 2 a.m. and costs $5.
