Slow Food at WHNA’s Meeting and Potluck Dinner

From Westover Hills Neighborhood Association;

Learn all about the slow food movement at WHNA’s annual general membership meeting on Thursday, May 12, at 7 p.m. in the Fellowship Hall at the Westover Hills United Methodist Church. John Haddad from Slow Food RVA will talk about why “slow food” is so important to our health, the environment, and the community. He will also give some practical ways to participate in the movement (such as buying local, supporting the farmer’s markets, growing food yourself, savoring your meals, etc.) Click here for more about Slow Food RVA and here for more information on the potluck and meeting.
