Robberies in Woodland Heights & Reedy Creek

Lt. Michael J. Bender, Jr. of Sector 211, 2nd Precinct wanted to get word out about some robberies that have recently occurred. If anyone has any information about these events and can assist us with identifying them please contact Lt. Bender at 646-8146.

With this sudden increase in robberies you will see more officers in your neighborhood as we work to locate and arrest these suspects. The below information is from the three armed robberies from this past weekend:

  • The first robbery occurred Friday night at 11 PM in the 300 Block of W. 30th St. The victim was parking his car when the suspects pointed a black semi automatic handgun at him and demanded his money. The suspects were described as: 1- BM 5’6”-5’10”, 28-35 years old, wearing a black mask, black fleece pullover, white t-shirt and armed with a black semi automatic handgun. Suspect 2- BM 5’10”-6’, 160 lbs, 28-35 years of age, wearing a puffy black coat, gray baseball hat or grey hooded sweatshirt, black jeans and black tennis shoes. The suspects were last seen running west on McDonough St .
  • The second robbery occurred Friday night at 11:30 PM in the 100 Block of Dundee Ave. The victim described the same suspects from the earlier robbery and said they were last seen walking east on Moody Ave.
  • The last robbery occurred at 3:40 AM Sunday morning (Saturday night) in the 200 Block of W. 34th St . The victim was robbed at gunpoint by three suspects who then fled on foot towards the rear of a house. All three suspects were armed with handguns. Two of the suspects fit the descriptions above and another suspect was described as a BM 5’6”-5’8” wearing dark clothing with a bandanna covering his face.
