Reedy Creek Coalition Work Day
CELEBRATE WETLANDS!
Saturday, April 9 from 9:00 am – 11:00 am
Join the Reedy Creek Coalition in a Nature Walk and Stream Clean-up around the Beaufont Grove Wetland located in the headwaters of Reedy Creek. Local naturalists from the Audubon Society and Richmond Tree Stewards will help identify the many plants, birds, and other animals using this valuable habitat. Clean-up activities will follow the nature walk.
Meet in the parking lot of the Miles J. Jones Elementary School located at 200 Beaufont Hills Drive (just off Midlothian Turnpike) at 9:00 am. Bring along a pair of work gloves and boots and help keep this resource beautiful. If you have questions, contact us at: reedycreekcoalition@gmail.com.

Here are some photos I took in October during the Reedy Creek Watershed Shuffle, if you’d like a preview of the wetlands. It’s a nice little walk around.
