Dunston Ave. Tree Planting on Sunday
The rain prevented this event from happening last weekend. The weather forecast is looking good for Sunday so the tree planting is on for Sunday.
Southside Plaza Sued Over Accessibility
Southside Plaza along with Mom’s Siam, Bonvenu restaurants (Carytown), and Sticky Rice (Fan) are being sued by Nicole Swann, 2010 Ms. Wheelchair Virginia. The reason for the suit is non-compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act. Dunston Ave Tree Planting Postponed
The Reedy Creek Coalition and Alliance for the Chesapeake Bay regret to announce that the tree planting along Dunston Avenue scheduled for Sunday, March 6, has been postponed due to weather. The tree planting will now take place on Sunday, March 13, from 2:00 – 4:30 pm.
