Meet With Maymont
Saw this on our brother site Byrd Park and know that many of us jump across the river to check out Maymont on a regular basis. Maymont is looking for input on how to improve the park and expand their interpretative programming and exhibits. I wonder if I can pitch a giant waterslide that goes from the mansion, down through the Japanese Gardens and past the bears as an interpretive experience.
Even if you’ve never been to Maymont, we’d love to share our vision with you and hear your reactions (and, yes, we admit, see if we can entice you to visit! Go to www.maymont.org for more information).
Please join us for one of our one-hour meetings on the following dates:
Wednesday March 30 at 5:30pm at the Robins Nature Center
Tuesday, April 5, at 5:30pm at Tuckahoe LibraryClick here to RSVP for your selected date.

How about starting by fixing the exhibits in the nature center. I know evereyone just goes in there to see the otters, but many of the exhibits on the way to them are broken or badly need cleaning and sprucing up.
