Legend Expansion and Possible Moving Plans
The excellent beer blog Yours for Good Fermentables posted this shortly after Legend Brewing’s 17th anniversary last month. The post is worth noting for two reasons. First it covers my biggest pet peeve in RVA. The place is called Legend. There is no “S”. You could say. “I’ll meet you at Legend.” You shouldn’t say “I’ll meet you at Legends.” I’m so glad I’m not the only one. The more important news he covers is that the brewery is adding six additional fermentation/maturation tanks. These new tanks will allow production to hit 15,000 barrels. The bad news is that they don’t have the room for that level of production. A move is in their future. Before you panic read this;
Whatever may happen —and Gott emphasized all this is only at the exploratory stage at present— the brewpub is NOT moving, he emphasizes. “We love it here, and our loyal customers, and we plan to stay.”

whew! You had me worried there for a minute! Would be great if they stayed in Manchester though.
Yes, yes! “Legends” is some salon over in Carytown, isn’t it?
