Mardi Gras Hills and Heights Style Tomorrow Night
The churches in the Hills and Heights area are hosting the 2nd Annual Hills and Heights Mardi Gras Supper, Parade and Party tomorrow night, Tuesday March 8th.
5:30 Pancake Supper at Good Shepherd Episcopal Church
6:30 Street Parade to Forest Hill Presbyterian Church
6:45 Concert by the No BS Brass Band at Forest Hill Presbyterian Church
7:10 Mardi Gras games, prizes, King Cake and fun for all ages
7:25 Wes Iseli & Natlie present Party Magic!
All this is brought to you by the churches of the Hills and Heights Ministerial Association: Bethany Christian Church, Crestwood Presbyterian Church, Forest Hill Presbyterian Church, Good Shepherd Episcopal Church, Westover Baptist Church, Westover Baptist Church, Westover Hills United Methodist Church and Woodland Heights Baptist Church.
We went to this event last year. As a former New Orleans resident, I found it to be really fun – especially as we second lined from one church to the next with people throwing beads from second story windows during the parade.
I cannot WAIT! We went last year, too – it’s so much fun for the kids!
