Yellow Tomcat Spotted on King William
This big guy may just be a feral but hasn’t been seen in the neighborhood before, so I’m posting the information I received. He was spotted in the 5100 block of King William.
Today (Monday), this very large yellow tom cat was in my yard. I’ve never seen him before. He was out there sniffing around for a long time, and I noticed his right ear was pretty messed up so grabbed the camera and went outside. He didn’t bolt like a complete feral but clearly didn’t want to be caught. Slowed down a bit at sweet talk. I just wondered if someone was missing him.
His name’s “Butterscotch.” He’s feral, but he’s been in the neighborhood since we moved in, which was 2.5 years ago. He won’t let me touch him, but he seems nice enough. He seems to hang around the 5000-5100 blocks of Sylvan.
I’ve seen him for quite some time now. I noticed him at least 2 months ago, coming down Peterborough to the 5200 block of King William. I see him every now and then and he was in my front yard last night around 7:30. I talked to him but he didn’t respond in any way, not even a glance. Seemed to know where he wanted to go.
