Crossroads Has Taps
Crossroads which recently added bottled beers should have taps up and running today. Since it is 8:00 in morning I haven’t officially verified through tasting but I have been assured that the beer is flowing. If you see Will and have a question about the beer or just want to talk beer don’t be shy. He is very enthusiastic and wants it to be a great addition to the neighborhood. Here is what should be on draft.
- Legend Brown (B+ by Beer Advocate)
- Brooklyn Lager (B+ by Beer Advocate)
- Heavy Seas Small Craft Warning Über Pils (B+ by Beer Advocate)
- Blue Mtn. Full Nelson IPA (B+ by Beer Advocate)
- Blue Mtn. Hibernator Doppelbock (A- by Beer Advocate)
- Crispin Cider (no review online but I enjoyed it a tasting)
- Lagunitas A Little Sumpin (A- by Beer Advocate)
- Jefferson Bourbon Barrel Stout (B+ by Beer Advocate)

WAHOO! That place is going to be my favorite beer garden!

Cider drinker here–Crispin is deelish! Good choice, because it’s not one you see often around here.
Great that they have Blue Mountian on tap!
YEEEEHAW!!!!!!
Better get there before Will drains the kegs during his hourly quality control testing!
Ice cream for the kids and beer for me. Sounds like a perfect afternoon outing.
After roughly two hours of testing I can confirm that they do in fact have draft beer. The list has changed from what is posted above but my notes were lost in a “spillage” incident. I’m giving this addition to our neighborhood a hearty thumbs up.
I think I’m going to have to work out some sort of custody agreement with Crossroads over my husband or I may never get to see him!
I went to Crossroads twice this weekend (didn’t try the beer) but I have to be honest, they MUST do something with the ventilation system in there. My clothes, my husbands clothes & my 18m’s clothes smelled AWFUL after sitting in there for about an hour!!!
I smelled like when I waited tables at the greasy all night dinner in collage.
Ick!
so they only have beer on tap? no bottled?
First sentence of the post Jenn. “Crossroads which recently added bottled beers”. All the bottled beer is craft beer. The initial bottled list was here: http://hillsandheights.org/2011/01/15/beer-added-to-the-menu-at-crossroads/ not sure what has changed on that list at this point. Most of those were there last time I looked.
