Friends of Forest Hill Park Launch New Website

The Friends of Forest Hill Park launched a new website and it’s looking good. Sections of the site include; About the Park, Recreation, Environment, Calendar, Become a Friend, Donate, Contact Us. The site is sure to be great asset as it grows and people turn to it as a resource for the park.

The mission statement of Friends of Forest Hill Park;

To preserve, protect, and promote responsible care and use of Forest Hill Park, in cooperation with the staff and leadership of the Richmond Department of Parks, Recreation and Community Facilities, and to foster wider knowledge, respect, and understanding of one of Richmond’s oldest and most precious public green-spaces.

If you want to help with that mission be sure and turn out for the next Friends of Forest Hill Park meeting Wednesday, Jan. 26 at7:00 p.m. at the Stone House. Everyone is welcome and there are plenty of opportunities to give back to the park that gives our community so much.
