Eliminating Debt Seminar at Westover Hills Library
Strategies for Eliminating Debt, a free seminar with practical information for effectively paying down debt, will be held at the Westover Hills Public Library, 1408 Westover Hills Boulevard, on Wednesday, January 26 from 6:30 – 7:30 p.m.

The seminar will be led by Cherry Hedges, financial education director of Virginia Credit Union.
The seminar at the Westover Hills Library is the first in a financial education series offered by Virginia Credit Union in partnership with the Richmond Public Library. The series, “Money Talks @ Your Library,” features 18 seminars at nine library branches in Richmond from January – November 2011. In addition, Virginia Credit Union will lead a week-long money camp for teens at the Main Library branch in July.
As a not-for-profit financial cooperative, Virginia Credit Union is owned by its 200,000 members. Anyone who lives, works, or attends school in the City of Richmond is eligible to join. With the sole purpose of helping people achieve greater success, Virginia Credit Union has made a major commitment to financial education in the community. Nearly 10,000 adults and young people participated in free financial workshops and seminars offered by Virginia Credit Union in 2010.
