Beer Added to the Menu at Crossroads
We covered the news when they were applying for the liquor license but now it is a reality. Crossroads has added beer to their list of offerings. I don’t know who picked out their beer list but they did a heck of a job. From Twitter the list is; Legend, Starr Hill, Blue Mtn, Corsendonk, St. George, Double Bag, Smuttynose, Terrapin, Old Speckled Hen, and Duvel. Currently only bottled beers but talked to the owner Wil and in the next 2 weeks taps will be installed.
Update 4:15: In the interest of science and to keep my readers better informed I stopped by Crossroads this afternoon to confirm the rumor. I had a Corsendonk Abbey Pale Ale and it was excellent very light and perfect for an afternoon sipping. Still not convinced that Crossroads was serving beer I had another one. This time an Evil 8° Belgian-Style Dubbel Ale by Blue Mountain. This one was good but I preferred the Corsendonk.

So THAT’s where you’ve been, dear sweet hubby..
Good lookin’ out, Richard :)
Never heard of Corsendonk, but now that I’ve seen on Beer Advocate that it’s a Belgian tripel, I’ll be reporting for duty ASAP.
Has their food menu updated yet? I thought it was supposed to but last I visited it had not.
Lesley, I didn’t notice a change in their menu particularly. A few more sides and a different source for their baked goods, their quiches in particular are made differently.
