H&H Toy for Tots Locations
A simple gift can make a difference and local businesses are helping by collecting toys for children. Collections will be taken until the 16th. I grabbed this list from the Toys for Tots website. I may have missed some locals as sometimes my map skills are lacking, let me know and I’ll add them.
- The Pediatric Connection, Inc., Collecting until 12/15, 1300 Semmes Ave
- The Lunch, Porter Cafe (aka Savor) Collecting until 12/17/2011, 201 West 7th Street
- Hand-I-Maids, Collecting until 12/20/2010, 7124 Forest Hill Avenue
- T-Mobile, Collecting until 12/31/2010, 2545 Sheila Ln
- Space Mart Self Storage, Collecting until 12/21/2010, 6208 Jahnke Road
- Benny’s
was collecting but according to the site it stopped on 12/11 so treat them as a maybe, 2919 Hathaway Roadrequested a box but didn’t get one, see the comments.
I would recommend calling prior to going to a drop-off location. I called Benny’s over a week ago to confirm that they were collecting and they told me that they had signed up to be a drop off site (as they had been in prior years), but were never given a box or a follow up call.
Thanks for the info Debbie. Sucks that Benny’s didn’t get a box. I know that Lunch Porter has a box because they Tweeted/Facebooked about it and that is what spurred the post.
