Sausage Craft at Once Upon a Vine

I learned through Twitter from The Marinara (@themarinara) that local sausage maker Sausage Craft will be selling their hand crafted artisanal meats at Once Upon a Vine. Details were posted on their Facebook page;
Want our sausage?! Once Upon a Vine South is now selling our sausage to order. Just call them at 804.864.9463 and place your order by Tuesday evening for pick up at the store on Friday. They are offering Della Nonna, Pork Belly Sausage, Amerikrainer, San Miniato, and Hot Italian. (Editor’s Note: 1 pound minimum of any particular sausage). They are all $11.99/lb or $10.99/lb for a 5 pound batch. Check our website for more deets on the sausages.
To learn more about Sausage Craft check out this article on Richmond Magazine.com written in October by The Marinara aka Matt Sadler. Anybody had a chance to check them out? I meet one of the owners awhile back at Blanchard’s Coffee Shop (now TaZa) and was intrigued then, so now I’m extremely curious.

We at Sausage Craft are glad you heard! I live in the area, and am delighted that Once Upon a Vine was one of the first to pick us up. Be sure to let everyone know about our sausage tasting (along with wine, cider, and beer) at Once Upon a Vine on Dec. 10. Come and check us out!
This sounds like a perfect vendor for the SOTJ Market.
I talked to both Brad and Chris today. They are really not a direct retailer, but are very customer friendly and look for ways to make this work. I am buying, and hope that everyone give them a try initially through Once Upon A Vine.
