Saturday Feel Good Lost Pet Post
Received an email a little while back that served as a reminder of what a great neighborhood we all live in.
Subject: Prayers have been answered – Buddy the Rat Terrier is back home!
Hi Richard,
Buddy is back home with us tonight — we got the call this afternoon that he had been found 4 miles away in a neighborhood right off of Jahnke Road. They found him around 9:00 p.m. on 10/29 — so he traveled a long way from our home since he went missing around 1:00 p.m. and miraculously avoided a lot of traffic. He had been cared for by some wonderful people who had contacted Chestefield & Richmond Animal Controls and got a call back today — and in a matter of minutes, the match was found in their database.
Our whole family wants to say thanks to everyone for looking out for Buddy, the neighbors who went out of their way to drive around searching, and thanks to you for posting him on Hills & Heights. We live in a great neighborhood with lots of caring people.

Gotta love a happy ending!
I am so happy for this family. As someone who is still missing my dog (Riley), this is giving me hope that maybe we’ll find him too. We miss him terribly.
Anyway, Happy reunion to you guys!
It’s great to read that a dog has been reunited with his owners. It’s so painful to have a missing pet. As someone who’s still waiting to hear word about our beloved Riley, this post is giving me a little bit of hope that we’ll get our reunion too.
YAH!!! I can throw away the sticky on my wallet with Buddy’s phone number on it. Good news.
Positive wishes for Riley’s return.
